This week I got out of the studio and hip-hopped into the car for a drive around Belfast with local rapper Bee Mick See. He took me on a drive past some important spots that have shaped his life growing up and making music in Belfast – Cave Hill, Start Together Studios and Auntie Annies.
We had high hopes of working our way through a playlist of his hip-hop and punk influences on our journey but we ended up chatting nearly the whole way, only getting some snippets.
Hear how a kid from Portland called Brendy became Bee Mick See – the accent, the production, and the jiggly boobs.
The Jewel Case broadcasts Tuesdays at 8pm on Lisburn’s 98FM, Bangor FM and FM105 Down Community Radio.
